What Raeo is
Raeo is a private app for iPhone that helps you be the friend you mean to be. It reads your calendar, checks in before and after you see people, and turns those quick conversations into a living memory of every friendship: what they told you, what they are going through, and what you wanted to follow up on.
Common questions
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. We keep no copy of your memory on our servers. Signing in is optional and stores only your name and email, never your friends or anything you have told Raeo about them. The web version is different and stores data on our servers so it can reach you in any browser. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
How do I export or delete what Raeo remembers?
Everything is in Settings inside the app. You can export all your data, view or export or delete a single friend's memory, or delete everything at once. Deleting is immediate and permanent, and it does not ask you to explain yourself.
Why does Raeo ask for calendar access?
It reads your calendar to know when you are seeing friends, so it can brief you before and check in after. Adding your Raeo moments back to your calendar is off by default; if you turn it on, Raeo writes only to a separate Raeo calendar it creates and never changes a calendar you already had. You can revoke access any time in iOS Settings without losing what Raeo already remembers.
What leaves my phone?
On supported iPhones your debrief is handled entirely on your device and nothing leaves at all. When your iPhone cannot run the model, your message and the relevant friend context pass through our relay to an AI provider instead, and the relay is built not to log them. We would rather state that plainly than imply nothing ever leaves.
Does Raeo cost anything?
No. Raeo is free.
Who can use Raeo?
Raeo is for people aged 18 and over. The App Store listing is rated 18+ to match.
Something is broken. What do you need from me?
Email support@raeo.app with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Your iOS version and the Raeo version from Settings › About help a lot. Screenshots help more. You do not need to write a formal bug report.
Can I ask for a feature?
Yes, and it goes to the person who would build it. Raeo is made by one person, so requests are read rather than triaged into a queue. Telling us the problem you hit is more useful than proposing the solution.
Reporting a security issue
Email support@raeo.app rather than publishing it, and we will respond. We will not be difficult about it, and we will not threaten you.
